Mercedes-Benz, Reflo, Kress and Vista Alegre join the Portugal Invitational partner family, bringing together sustainable automotive solutions, sustainable performance apparel, autonomous turf-care technology and Portuguese craftsmanship.
The partnerships support the tournament’s commitment to a more responsible event model, helping reduce operational impact while enhancing the player, fan and course experience.

Vilamoura, Algarve, Portugal – 25th June 2026 – The Portugal Invitational has welcomed Mercedes-Benz, Reflo, Kress and Vista Alegre into the tournament’s partner family for the inaugural PGA TOUR Champions event, further strengthening a commercial programme that also includes Turismo do Algarve and Turismo de Portugal.
Together, Mercedes-Benz, Reflo, Kress and Vista Alegre bring expertise across automotive solutions, circular performance apparel, golf course technology and Portuguese craftsmanship, supporting the tournament’s commitment to delivering a more responsible, locally connected and forward-thinking event experience.
Taking place at The Els Club Vilamoura from 31 July to 2 August, the Portugal Invitational will welcome some of the most accomplished golfers to the Algarve, while also placing a strong emphasis on the role major sporting events can play in promoting more sustainable choices across their operations.
The partnerships bring together innovation in automotive solutions, sustainable performance apparel and golf course maintenance, alongside the craftsmanship and Portuguese heritage of Vista Alegre, which will create the official tournament trophy.

Reflo will support the tournament with sustainable performance apparel, combining technical golfwear with recycled materials, responsible production and circular design principles.

Kress will bring autonomous electric mowing technology to the tournament’s sustainability platform, helping reduce emissions and maintenance noise while allowing greenkeeping teams to focus on course presentation, turf quality and biodiversity.

Vista Alegre will create the official trophy for the Portugal Invitational, bringing a distinctive local dimension to the event through one of Portugal’s most iconic brands. Founded in 1824, Vista Alegre has been part of Portuguese cultural and industrial heritage for two centuries, combining craftsmanship, design and innovation in porcelain.

The Portugal Invitational will be staged at The Els Club Vilamoura, the first private members’ club in Portugal and a new world-class golf destination in the Algarve. Designed by four-time major champion Ernie Els, the venue will welcome a star-studded field featuring major champions, Ryder Cup icons and World Golf Hall of Fame members, including Bernhard Langer, Pádraig Harrington, José María Olazábal, Retief Goosen, Zach Johnson, Miguel Ángel Jiménez and Stewart Cink.
The tournament will feature a 54-hole stroke-play competition from Friday 31 July to Sunday 2 August, with a US$3 million prize purse and a field bringing together leading names from PGA TOUR Champions. Beyond the competition, the Portugal Invitational will also showcase how major golf events can work with partners to reduce operational impact, celebrate local craftsmanship and deliver a world-class experience for players and fans.
The Portugal Invitational will be broadcast live in the United States on Golf Channel, the exclusive home of PGA TOUR Champions. Internationally, coverage of the 2026 PGA TOUR Champions season will reach more than 170 countries and territories through a network of 25 global broadcast partners.
